That second graphic reinforces my feeling that our country is slowly turning into a protection racket for a neo-liberal capitalism that’s extending its reach globally. Heck we certainly have the tax base, industrial capacity and political power for it. If nothing else, this might explain why we are kept at each others’ throats these days.
