Funny aside. I like to stir the pot when I can. Having grown up in the B'ham area, I was fully involved with the AL/Auburn culture. So, when I was up in Oregon, we would get a lot of recent college graduates. Several would wear Alabama or Auburn shirts, or have stickers on their laptops and such. So, whenever I saw someone in Alabama gear I would shout "War Eagle!!!" If I saw Auburn gear would yell, "Roll Tide!" Pretty much no one responded. When I got down here to Oklahoma last month, I saw a woman with an Alabama sweatshirt across the Costco parking lot. Naturally I shouted, "War Eagle!!!" For the first time ever, she shouted back, "Roll Tide!!!"
Not apropos to anything. Just a quick aside.
