I can't believe it, but I will be "60" on June 16th, witch happens to be on a Thursday. And we all know what happens at

the Man cave on Thursdays. So this is a open invitation to anyone and your spouse or whoever you want to bring, to

come over for a real barn burner, This one should be epic. So post here or send me a P/M or call if you can make it.

This "Senior Citizen" stuff kind of slips up on us. For what it's worth, I turn 76 on June 20. I think they may have told us a little white lie about the "GOLDEN YEARS". From where I sit, it does't look so golden. Just say'n.

I enjoy the "perks" of Senior Citizenry. McDonald's has good coffee for us Old Folks at just 75 cents!

That is without a doubt the best looking red velvet cake I have ever seen, and fried chicken too!
Is that cream cheese or buttercream frosting?

Buttercream all the way. An old recipe with vinegar in it. The cake is almost biscuit-like, not super sweet...but the frosting is . All that sweet rides on a barley sweet red cake. Got the recipe from an old family friend who made the best. I saw it in my dreams as a child.
