Title: Wanted: Plans
Post by: Dennis Leonhardi on April 14, 2023, 01:43:26 AM
I recently acquired more than 200 kits and miscellaneous parts.  Some are missing plans; I'm looking for the following:

- SIG Super Chipmunk (I'd purchase from SIG but obviously they're not shipping now)
 - Viper for AMA Combat
 - 1/2-A Phantom by Competition Corner
 - The Stork by A-J's Free Flight Service/Golden State Models
 - Sidewinder by Bob Beardon
 - Super Sidewinder Slow by Bob Beardon
 - Midwest Firefly Kit Plan

Pdf format would be great, but not choosy - TIA!

Dennis,
Here is the Chipmunk. https://outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=7547

Check that site for the others. Go to Category, CL Sport Plans. Then go to the bottom and click on the search, enter the name of the ship.

Best,    DennisT

Dennis L.

Sig does not list the plans for the Super Chipmunk on their website.  They do list the plans for the Banshee and Twister under "Aircraft Replacement Parts" then "Sig CL kit Parts" but when you go to the Super Chipmunk you can buy the wing kits and other parts but they do not list the plans for the Super Chipmunk.

Perhaps it was an oversight when they put the website together.   Perhaps if you called them and asked if you could purchase the Super Chipmunk plans they would sell them to you.

That is the plan for the Van Loo version, which became kit CL-3. There are some differences between it and the Super Chipmunk.
   Type at you later,
