Looking for old flying field photos or newspaper articles at Mountain View Park Middlesex NJ. The older the better trying to establish the background for a possible historical site classification!

      If you hear of any specific mag issues with any pictures you can use, I can  provide copies for you. I've seen the tower in Windy videos but those probably aren't old enough for you. Are you just looking in the 1970s era?

Thanks Dan, going back 50 years would be ideal. Here is my son in 2004 holding two trophies, which I have.

If there are any living relatives of Gus, perhaps they saved something. I remember attending a meet there in either 1969 or 1970 and there was coverage. If the Middlesex township library has micriofiche files from local papers during those years, there just might be newspaper clippings of the club's activities.

     Al   In the 1990s when visiting Binghamton from my home in Florida I drove down to a contest at a city or state park in NJ . There was a big turn out on a somewhat poor weather day.  i do have some pictures from that day. I sat round between flight talking  with Larry about bicycles as I use to buy Schwinn Paramount bikes from him when I lived in Binghamton in the 1960's No one new me except Larry and he remembered me from contest in 1950's. as you can see I won old time stunt ,classic and I was third ahead of Windy in expert. I used this very old Viking for all events.
