Title: Walter Umland
Post by: Russ Main on October 21, 2016, 01:36:12 PM
Hi Everyone,
Walter has been working towards better health and was in the hospital for out patient surgery on Thursday. I received information that while the procedure went well he had some other issues arise and went back in today for observation. I ask that if you can send prayers for a fast recovery for him and his family. Walter is a great asset to our sport/hobby. I know he isn't taking calls but when I hear from his wife I will post an update.
Thank you,
Russ Main

Hello Again,

It was not out patient surgery but an over night procedure that has ended up a few days more. His wife has told me he is feeling better and paying attention to the details. Knowing Walter if he is paying attention to details he is ready to come home. He has been working hard on several kit offerings for the building season, take a moment to see his web site. Thank you everyone for the prayers!

Best wishes to Walter from Roberta and I.
I was hoping Walter might have stopped by the Southeast Stunt N Fun early next month so I could visit with him for a few minutes on Sunday morning but that can wait.
Just take care of yourself Walter!

Walter called me about an hour ago. He had just gotten home from the hospital. He thanks everyone for their continued prayers,

He is in a lot of pain but is very glad to finally be home. Each day will get better and the surgery will help many of his problems over the next few months.

We will talk again next week.
