Mike, thanks for the nice words, looking forward to seeing you at Brodak
Scott it was a rough Thursday and I might or might not have had a cocktail or two
I will have to get back to you tomorrow.
I reduced my big Tsunami exactly 57%
The CG now that I have a tank mounted looks really good, but I will give you the moments later.
As I said on the 1/2A thread....not even sure it will fly well or at all....if we could just get some descent weather to give it a try.
I will post all the results as soon as I have some....right now all I can say is its cute
Hello Tim, What is the wing area of your model? Just eyeballing the photos, it looks to be around 220Sq"s;
that's good for the total weight. I think that it may be a bit nose heavy with a metal fuel tank when filled
up with enough fuel to fly a stunt pattern. So... if that's the case, please consider using a balloon tank
which will give a much better fuel delivery, and weigh less than the metal tank.
Larry; this model does not have flaps, so I personally recommend, setting the elevator deflections to
no more than 25 degrees; which is over what's needed, but full handle deflection will not be necessary
to perform maneuvers.
Tim, your model should fly very well; just a few adjustments(CG placement, prop diameter and pitch,
fuel used) will hone the performance, and oh yes, handle line spacing per Larry R's handle advice.
Best of luck; Tony G
