That was awesome. Excellent video. Thanks for sharing. What band sang the "Wired for Excitement " song. Pretty catchy.

Nicely done!  I enjoyed seeing the warm and sunny Tucson.  Maybe our snow, rain, cold will someday go away and will look nice and warm like Tucson.

Great video. Nicely done. Could not help but notice the plethora of chem trails in the Arizona sky. I thought we had them bad in Kansas. We only get about one sunny day a week. Think of all the jet fuel they are burning to spread the skies with chemicals. They claim it is for global warming. Do they really think we are that stupid?

Transportation fuels are considered a major source of CO2 pollution.  The ocean absorbs most of CO2 and trees absorb a lot, although trees are being cut faster than new ones can grow.

Jets use low grade kerosene.  Maybe someday, jet engines might convert to LNG, which is slightly better.  Trucks and cars might someday tend toward electric or fuel cells, but not very soon.

I contribute my small part to global warming by running spark ignition model engines!!

If you look at these trails they are not vapor trails. They hang there for hours as they slowly widen out to form clouds. It is aluminum oxide and other chemicals. These are Jets that are full of tanks of just chemicals. There are hundreds of them flying all over the world. Go to u tube and type in chem trails.

There is no place to run. They are doing it world wide. The governor of Arizona tried to get it stopped in their state. But to no avail.

This has gotten a bit off the subject, but at one time jet contrails were once blamed on global cooling.

I’m pretty sure they do.

Thanks to Mike Haverly for posting the link, and thanks to David Shorts for making the video. Nice video, but when I got to the Youtube page, I spotted more of Davids video's and there are movies of the 1975 and 78 Nats and that was even better! I've always wanted to see Al Rabe flying his Seafury in his heyday and there is some nice footage in the 75 video. The 78 Nats show even more of the stunt legends legends in their youth. The footage was shot by Lanny Shorts who did a great job with those rolls of film which only ran for about 4 minutes. It has been converted nicely to video and edited by David. The standard of flying at that time was excellent too and really not much different from today. Here are the links:

Let me give my thanks for those that made these films and posting to YouTube.  That period of time I was tied up with racing and carrier.  Tried F2C during the 70's.  But I feel so privileged to have gotten to meet so many of the pilots and other people through the years.  Again thanks for the links. H^^
