Title: VSC Banquet My Side

I knew I had one trophy coming as I had the highest scoring Sheeks design.  The prettyest one was crashed.  The second did not get a pattern.  I did not get a pattern the first round and left out triangles second round.  Charley Mackey launched for me.  But, I am still pinching myself as I was awarded "The Keeper of the Flame Award".  A lot of names to live up to on it.  Wait til next year is better said as I will see you next year the good Lord willing.  DOC Holliday    Still having fun.

John.  Good to learn your name is now on the KOF trophy.  You know, the thing makes a super ice bucket for a bottle of champaigne.  I did that, and my dinner guests were impressed!

Doc you got everthing you deserved.  I enjoyed the talks we had and I enjoyed your little friend.  I hate to tell you this Doc but when you are not around she goes to other men y1.  Your plane looked and flew great, you flew on Friday when others like me stayed on the ground.  You deserved the award.  I am just glad to be able to call you friend.

Doc.... Great that you are bring the award back to Kansas.. but i dont know...will ya still be able to get that hat on... I see your plane with a great fella...dont think you can do much better than that... hope to see ya sometime to go flyin....

I couldn't agree more. Us Jayhawkers is proud of ya. I am fortunate enough to live close enough to Doc to get to visit with him a few times a year. The world is a better place because of people like him.
