Title: VSC 33, March 15 – 19, 2022 Tucson, Az.

Dates are set,  Tues March 15 thru Sat March 19, 2022. 

Same events as last several years:
•   Old Time Stunt
•   Ignition Old Time Stunt
•   Ringmaster Old Time Stunt
•   Exhibition Event
•   Classic Stunt
•   Super 70’s Stunt
Same site as always:  Christopher Columbus Park, Silverbell Rd.  Tucson Az.  Currently the city of Tucson is not yet issuing use permits for large gathering.  We are on the informal list for a permit on those dates and will operate on the assumption that we will be issued a use permit.

The Holiday Inn Express on Grant Rd did a great job at the last VSC . I have arranged rates with them for 2022.
$89.00 + tax, includes hot breakfast if Covid rules are lifted. They are currently providing grab and go.
breakfast, but hope to have full breakfast by the time we are there.

The awards banquet will be held at the Tucson Marriott University Park. 880 E 2nd St , Tucson on Sat. March 19, 2022.

I have a suggestion for a plan B to the distinct possibility that Tucson will continue to restrict event crowds due to COVID. I can talk to Avondale Park and Recreation and reserve the soccer fields for the VSC on the same dates as we used to do here in the Phoenix area a decade ago.

I will check with the park director and see if it is possible.

There is plenty of restaurants, motels , and what is needed to make this work.
