Perehaps I misread the results, but:

It appears that Ignition old time stunt was won by a proxy flyer.

Is the use of a proxy flyer allowed on all the VSC events?

Hi De Hill,

The entered contestant is unable to fly control line airplanes.  During the contest it was asked if a proxy flyer would be permitted for this situation.  In the spirit of “participation” we allowed it.  Notice that only three people put ANY points on the scoreboard in Ignition.
•   Proxy fliers are not permitted in other VSC events.
•   We are going to review the possibility of allowing this in Ignition in the future.

Thanks for the pictures.

I really appreciate that you labeled each picture with the pilot's name and the name of the model.  I've only been back in Control Line for 3 or 4 years and don't know all the personalities.  I know many of the models by sight, but not nearly all of them.  So, once again thanks.

David, thanks for a great video.  The old DOC really enjoyed it and it brought back memories of the people and planes plus the site.  The one place I had a chance to meet the heros I had always read about.   There are so many stories of the times I was there and getting there and back. D>K H^^
