Hi Floyd,
Unfortunate circumstances but no real mystery. The score sheets were made up in advance from entries, and unfortunately there were several "No Shows" and in addition a couple of "scratches" prior to flying for personal reasons.

As you can see attendance was down from previous years. Too bad because it was a wonderful contest...very well run and the weather was nearly perfect. Difficult to imagine a better contest.

The New Old Time Ringmaster contest was pretty well attended and will likely be a permanent addition in the future. I think 17 entries.

Incidentally...it could have been better if you had been there!!! <= H^^

A lot of the credit for a very well organized contest goes to Jim Hoffman. Hard working well organized fellow!

Hi Jim,

Well done to you and LeRoy for the way the contest was run; we had a seamless transition to the new CDs.

Pete Peterson and I judged OTS Ignition...somehow I was shown as the only judge and I just wanted to be sure that Pete got credit also.

Well, there is a slightly higher risk of virus inclusion in PDF files than in JPG files. maybe that's what He's referring to. Never had a problem on this forum however and most folks have pretty good virus protection...if not they should have.
