Title: VSC 2013

If my back and knee surgeries go well this summer, I am planning on going to VSC next year (I know...there goes the neighborhood) This would be my first trip there so I am going to ask some of you seasoned vets what motels do I need to contact to see about getting a room when the time comes?

Well I stayed at the Econolodge at I-10 & 6th Ave.   Rooms were comfortable with shower/tub, bed and TV.   No clock radio.  Wife and daughter made the arrangements.    H^^

Hope you can make it to VSC next year.

For hotels, the Riverpark Inn has been the host hotel for the past few years, that's where appearance judging and the banquet is held. Mike Keville will probably be handling the arrangements with the Riverpark Inn for next year. Information will probably be available sometime around October to November. There are many other hotels in the area, I've stayed at the Red Roof on Ina road in the past.

Yes, the headquarters hotel will probably by the Riverpark Inn again (theriverparkinn.com), although at this point in time I can't guarantee that.  Lou Wolgast and Robin Sizemore call the shots.  I just assist where needed.  The Riverpark offers us a special rate far below their usual cost, so that will probably be the place.  Will know for sure by year-end, when Robin (Ass't. CD) will announce it here or on Stunt Hangar.

For the budget-minded, there are other occommodations nearby: a Motel 6, a Ramada plus a few others.  We'll have more info at year-end.
