I think the Meteor might be a nifty scale-ish deal...almost centeline, too!

The F6 gear location is not that unusual, it id the fact that it is retractable in that location that is unusual. When the gear is down it is much like any other fuselage mounted gear. The F4 had a more centered wing than the F6 if that matters.

I like the Meteor. I'm not sure the Nemesis will translate well, due to the
large front end and small tail section. Of course, the Hellcat is one of the
all-time great "muscular" WWII fighters; but it's nice when something
such as the Meteor, which is rarely seen, gets modeled.

Robert, I know you are a fast builder, so why don't you build one of each one and bring it to the Ice-O-Lated meet next week end and I will let you know what I think.
 PS I have voted anyway. I know what ever you decide it will be spectacular.
