Here is my SL3 in paint.  Next is some additional trim and touch-up and then ink-lining.  This is the 2nd revision of my original Silver Lancer (thus SL3).

I have the plans.  I just need to write the article.  A while back.... Bob Hunt urged me to publish it when he was editor of Flying Models, so I put the plans together for the Silver Lancer.  But never got to the point of writing the article.  However, I didn't forget and eventually did photos and stuff of the SL2 when I built that.  Of course, by then Bob was editor of Model Aviation.  Well, I have now drawn up the plans for the SL3 and Bob is editor of Stunt News.  So...

Bill Barnes forever!!!!  

Oh yeah, it has wing mounted gear.  Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to make a retractable float (obviously, someone has been looking at those old magazine articles and graphics...)

Weight/area?

Don't know the finished weight on this one, but both the original SL and the SL-2 weighed 65 ounces.  Both had foam wings.  I stuffed a PA-61 into SL-2 and it made quite an improvement.  SL-3 has a built-up wing and will have a PA-61 also.
