Better Late then Never... Pictures
« on: September 14, 2012, 06:13:46 PM »
I had to jump on a plane and head out west for work so I did not get a chance to post any more pictures from out contest. Joann Lynch sent these to me and ask me to post them here.
So here they are. The titles of the photos explain the who and the what.
Enjoy

Better yet when compressed and posted all in one post? Well, you can see if you can tell the difference in the compressed duplicates. NOT compressed costs Sparky in bandwidth, and thus in $$$. The better job we do in compressing the pictures we post, the less Sparky has to worry about paying the bills...or, the more available for zoot prizes! Your choice, of course. Personally, I'd suggest a 100kb limit for pictures, but would like to have a bigger limit for some other file types.  H^^ Steve

Steve I liked your so much better then mine. So I deleted my pics.  <=

I did this from my work confuser. No compression software and board sitting in my hotel room.

Any way if you will email me instructions I will try and save space.

Paul, I just dragged and dropped all the pics (1 at a time!) into IrfanView, checked size (image), and compressed them (save as) at 70% setting. Since they were already 800 pixels wide, I didn't actually resize any of them, to make it a more fair comparison. Normally, I'll resize them to 640 pixels wide, but only so they'll look a little crisper at the same file size. I hope you aren't PO'd at me. This is a way to save Sparky some cash, or make that cash available for more fancy prizes.  H^^ Steve

Thanks Paul,

I love the picture of Lou, John, Mike and Tom staring at the "ACTION".  Looks pretty exciting ;D
