This plane was designed by Jim Lynch back in the 70's and I understand that is did well at the NAT's for several years.
Anyone got any pictures of this plane?

I have copies on my email at home. Send me a reminder to send them to you.

Thanks Grady!!!
I heard Jim was building another one so I stopped by his shop.
This one is on my short list for sure!!!

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the picture! How about checking with Jim and see if he has any pictures of his FW-190 (Sheeks version)? As usual, it was a beautiful model, as Jim always builds. It had the "landing strip defense" red/white stripe markings on the bottom.

I haven't seen his new one yet. We did break in the Aero Tiger when we broke in my PA40. I was lucky enough to watch Jim Fly the original...a few years ago. It was admittedly difficult to be impressed with this plane (and I was impressed with this plane) while it sat next to his "GORGEOUS" Rabe Bearcat though. Jim's planes are always the best whether it's CLPA, RC, or rubber free flight. Can't wait to see the new one in a couple of weeks.

Thanks, Louis! I always thought that was a great build, and it is beautifully finished as always from Jim.

Great photos Allen!

Does anyone have the dimensions of this plane? I have something that looks very similar to it.
Thanks, Tom

That is Nostalgia 30 at it's finest!

It is a 40 size plane. From what I hear Bob Hunt is cutting foam wings for this plane and Tom Morris has sold a few controls for this plane. You might see a few at a contest near you next year.

This is the ship, it's close. I'm wondering if whomever was building it, was just making some minor changes to make it their own. It was left for trash and actually is very well built. I'm curious to what it is.

Not sure, but Jim's design has longer flaps and it has wire gear. It also has wing tips.
-
yes, Paul I did notice that the flaps weren't full span like Jim's. Also, the vertical fin is smaller on my plane. Wing tips are not yet put on. /DV
Merry Christmas,
Tom
