Kenny Perkins gave me a call and wanted to burn some fuel. The wind was going to finally lay down this afternoon.
He showed up with his Rabe Mustang. Man that thing is cool ! I want one !!!
Any way a few photos from the afternoon.

I am really starting to like this Force. It turns nice inside and outsides and just clicks into level flight. I am really getting comfortable with this plane. The only thing I am going to change is make some longer gear so I can swing a 12 in prop just as a test. Did I say I am liking the way this plane flys?

Kenny is also building another Rabe Mustang! Everyone should own two right?

A few more..... did I say I like the way my Force flys?

And here is a photo I snagged off of Kenny's shop wall. Him and Lester at the Nats. They were in to Rat Racing and from what I hear was a force to be reckon'd with.

Glad you are enjoying the Force.  I hope this is an old picture too.  The flaps and the elevators are both down?

Lester Goldsmith of Bluff City Hobbies fame.  I sure enjoyed the little brown house hobby shop back in the day.  RC on one side and CL on the other.  Neat stuff everywhere else.

Yea. It's a old photo.
I just wish I could go fly more this week. Not enough time in the week.

You sure cut a nice kit.

Hi Paul,
The 12" prop will more than likely kill some of the turn somewhat.  Try a C/F 11" X 4'5" 3 blade, it will surprise you how well that will work.

Later,
Mikey

Thanks Mike for the tip.

I will need to get a few more flights and save my lunch money.
Just don't want to drop big bucks on a prop just yet.

Might have to go in search for a used one.  H^^

Hey Bill
That is Kenny Perkins new plane. He has been swapping emails with Al Rabe.
It looks way cool.
