Please notice the "Exhibition" category above. This will be an excellent opportunity to display and fly some of the more rare and unusual designs from the old days - which, after all, was the original intent of the VSC.

Nice additions, making an already excellent event even better. Just wish it wasn't 1800 miles away... :(
-
I believe this is during my spring break. Hmmm.....better get the United finished!

That's only a three day drive unless the border patrol holds you up. At on time I could do the 1250 miles with only a road side nap. Now it takes me two days.

And surprise of surprises, it's looks like I may be there. Yeah!
Now the question: Classic or Super 70s. Hmmm....

Jim,
Sure would be nice to have this as a fillable form and credit card. Have downloaded it and will send in now (will not miss it this time).
Best, DennisT

I actually did make the drive down with Keith Sandberg in 2007, we had a great time. It was 1800 miles one way. We took turns driving and stopped only for fuel when needed, and then once at a Subway for a sandwich. I remember I had the cruise set at 95 for a while crossing Kansas as the sun was going down. We made it in 24 hours, almost to the minute. Do the math on that one. VD~ ;D

Good thing the Kansas Highway Patrol were asleep also the Indians. You would still be in the little town where you would have been caught wondering how to get home. At least some of the towns warn you of a reduction in the speed limit. Still in the air for another VSC for me.

I have my "Exhibition" model ready for next March. A 1944 "Moitle", Torp 32 on spark ignition. Unflown as of right now, may still be that way next March!
