Vintage Combat coverage

Give a shout out to Model Aviation for printing Bob Hunt's swell coverage and color photos of the 3rd Annual Vintage Combat Fly-In.  Also a nice sidebar profiling Larry Scarinzi.

Haven't had a chance to read it yet.  But being Bobby Hunt is the author it has to be great. #^ #^

It was a great read! Bob did a great job expressing how we all feel about the event. The pictures told the story too! I think the opening picture with Jim launching Tom's Voodoo was sweet!

Big Plus on the article!!  So far, two wrong guesses on the plane being launched. Article caption says Riley Wooten plane and one Voodoo.  Combat Cat with G-21 which, due to my over exuberance with fuel choice and needle, quickly overheated and stopped!! Embarrassing but glad to say the motor survived :)! In our neighborhood the Tigre is kind of like the dark side. Hope for a  better showing this year.  TS

Well by golly it is a cat! Tigres had a tough day! That plane was top honors in '13.

So what's on the bench for  '16? I know
of a Voodoo and saw a jr. Satan. I'm working on a top secret model. So secret I haven't told myself yet! Got to finish my new stunt ship first!
