Hi Louie,

I added the Charlotte NC identifier to your title, I hope you don't mind.  It will help the search.

I am sure that some of the Charlotte/Huntersville members here will jump in.  The best one in MY part of the state (90-100 miles East of Charlotte) is Hayes Hobby House on Bragg Blvd. in Fayetteville.

The Metroliners Controlline Society is the group in charge of the Huntersville C/L site.  Will Davis and Ed Ruane are regular visitors here.

Welcome to North By God Carolina!

Hi Louie,

Other than a a store that is a part of HobbyTown chain of stores (which has no controline stuff and very little rc acessories that we use) Charlotte just has no hobby shop.
However, just south about 15-20 miles on I-77 in Rock Hill is the Hobby Stop which is a great and complete hobby shop.
They even stock Brodak stuff ,including kits. Check their website for info and directions www.hobbystop.com .
We Welcome you to the area for your visit.
                                                           Best Wishes,  Pat Robinson

Louie ,

Get up with me( willddavis@msn.com)  or Watt Moore ( medplans@truvista.net ). We will send you to a couple good hobby shops, Hobby Stop is a great shop. In Gastonia, west of Charlotte about 5 miles off of I 85 is John's toy and Hobby , a old hobby shop, not much control line , but alot of old stuff .

Watt lives south of Rock Hill, right on I 77 south to columbia SC  , sells  some Brodak stuff and has a  very nice circle  at his house.
