Many thanks for those views!  I remember Burt's F-27 that won Sr. CL Scale, but never knew he'd flown A/1 and A/2 Nordic at the Nats too.

  I have seen You Tube video of old home movies of him flying the proof of concept model of his VariViggen at the old McDonnell club flying field in St. Charles, MO and at Buder Park in South St. Louyis County. I worked for Mac for a while as an independent contractor on the F-15. I believe that is where he met his wife. I'll have to wait until I get home to really enjoy these new ones.
