Post by: RC Storick on November 12, 2017, 07:56:27 AM: For all my Youtube followers I thank you. I will be posting How to videos on https://vid.me/Stunt_Hangar while hangouts will still be run on Youtube.

You may ask why the change? Well, Youtube has some logarithms that are censoring my videos and no allowing them to be posted. The computer they have does not quite know how to speak English. I will still post some announcements On Youtube to let you know there will be a Vid.me upload coming. The Vid.me platform is much easier to use and I can catalog videos much better. So please help me out as I need 50 subscribers to unlock all features like 1080P and longer videos to be uploaded.

I really miss seeing the Sparky builds but it's too much hassle trying to search all over the place for it. While there is still a lot of good stuff here from others, I feel this forum has been lacking ever since Sparky quit regularly posting his stuff for us right here, where it should be IMO.

Not everyone gets on board or moves quickly speaking from experience as Secretary /Treasurer of a C/L and FF club (AFFC) since 1990 has shown me (and lately newsletter editor too just to keep it functional).

Wouldn't it actually be easier to just get back to putting posts up here? Back in the beginning that's what this forum was about, one stop shopping so to speak.

BTW, I actually made an attempt with the VidMe sign up last night but when I opened the provided link and hit the "Sign Up" tab nothing happened. Tried it about eight different times and finally gave up.

In this thread Robert is asking a simple easy to do favor... took every bit of 3 minuets to set up my own account that I never intend to upload to.

I did have to go back to the original link Robert provided to "Follow" his vidme page

no one is ever obligated to do anything or pay anything on vidme

BUT for our friend Robert, having a minimum following (50 Followers) gains him some substantial benefit and services on the site

If you log into vidme after creating your account and then "following" Robert... in the very upper left is three bars...click and in the menu should be YOUR page and Next below is Robert's page that you are now FOLLOWING --- then a whole slew of other video category below

The reason for the move is they are taking the You out of Youtube, in the end, it will just be TUBE. They offer no protection from SPAM harassment and bullying. So just as Stunt Hangar was born I will find my own way.

The videos that are there are there as a placeholder for our channel. If you look at the folder options the building videos will be easier to find by category in the future. I also think the video quality is better on Vidme.

They can all be watched as re-runs on the Stunt Hangar YouTube channel, and we have guests from all over the world, discussing all sorts of topics about most anything that involves tools, building, and things that go. They're also in a playlist on my own 'Tube channel if you search for "Rusty K Control Line."

That Hangout episode from Friday(shown above) had some glitches and dropping my internet. So I thank my guests for holding that one together while I played Bash-a-Mole with the computer. For the most part we've gotten pretty good at running a nice smooth, be-it amateur, production. People join on phones, tablets, and PCs. Most work well only limited by the bandwidth on their end.

Let me know if you've tried and failed to join a session, we can get you going if you wish.
And there's always the text chatbox next to the video window if you watch the stream on the 'Tube, and we mix all of their comments with our discussions. There are a few regulars that join the 'Tube group, many because of low bandwidth.

The post with each night's link appears the moment we go live about 9:40 pm Eastern time on Monday and Friday.
