« on: February 11, 2011, 06:37:03 PM »
I put some details of my new Raptor model for 2011 in the Building section but not everyone reads that section - So here is a little taste. This is the second model. First one was posted a few weeks ago. In clear - this is my Nats edition

You can check out full details over there

The photo below was taken about 5 weeks ago - Im getting closer to paint every day. - Yes that is a foam sanding block holding up the tail... Its not a new feature I just hadnt installed the removable tailwheel assembly yet. Im using the Yatsenko system. Just needed to elevate the rear to get stance and Photo op.

I hope to have it in primer within the next few weeks. Paint due to finish late March with test flights shortly after leaving Aprl May June for final commission to comp spec.

THAT looks really good to my aesthetic sensibilities. Sorta like Gieske Nobler meets SV-11. Green and Gold? Good job, Mate!  H^^ Steve

"The United States has become a place where professional athletes and entertainers are mistaken for people of importance." - Robert Heinlein

In 1944 18-20 year old's stormed beaches, and parachuted behind enemy lines to almost certain death.  In 2015 18-20 year old's need safe zones so people don't hurt their feelings.
