For those that have built a Vector 40.
The bottom spar for the wing is shown on the plans as being tapered.
Do I use the sheet in the kit to cut the spar or do I need to provide my own. May seem like a silly question but I dont want to start cutting into a sheet if its meant for something else.
Thanks

the material for the spar is in the kit.
IIRC - if you cut the taper the spars are nearly the correct size, as in, the sheet for the spar is the right depth to make 2no spars without any waste.
you'd think I'd remember after building 6 of them haha

Did you get the Vector 40 Instruction Book, CLB-48? It should show you what you need to know.
I haven't built a Vector 40, but suspect that a constant width bottom spar might be part of the plan for jigging the wing flat on the bench...might be! D>K Steve

Yes I seen it. It was overlooked.

I built my Vector from a die cut kit many years ago,but I remember the spar piece was in the box cut, ready to go.
I got it wrong , had to cut out of sheet.
