Title: veco redskin
Post by: bob lindsay on November 08, 2006, 01:40:26 PM: i,had a veco redskin with a veco 29 in it about 40 years ago .i still have the engine it is in like new condition . where can i get plans to build the red skin?

Post by: Ken Deboy on November 08, 2006, 02:52:01 PM: I don't think the original kit plans have enough detail to build from. Bill Schmidt supplies an enhanced set of plans that also show all the parts, so you can scratch build from them. His contact information is:

There is also a company in Texas that sells a laser cut short kit for the Redskin:

I also had one ready to go when B-Team race was dropped from the rule book. Green Head Torp that was an easy starter. DOC Holliday

Oops... edited post with correct number. I called it this time first to verify. BTW he charges $10 for the Redskin plans.

Hi Bob, did you get your plans yet? I just got a laser kit short kit. Looks like all the parts are there except sticks, sheeting, ad nose block. Now need to think about an engine for it.

I have the veco 29 and a red head 29 McCoy to choose from for power. Also a

I got the kit from Laser Works. Posted a short review inder Product Reviews. IMHO well worth the money.
