Post by: Wayne Smith on January 03, 2012, 07:36:28 PM
Am in the process of constructing Walter Umland's profile prototype of Jim Van Loo's Chipmunk.  This is a short kit version that is well laid out.  Construction is pretty straightforward. Have included some pix

To me, there's nothing prettier in our hobby than a nicely constructed wing in bare bones!  Looking good! y1 y1

It will have a Brodak .40 for power since this is the glow version

Is there a ignition or diesel version? I have never heard of one.

Walter Umland may be able to better answer that question

LOL! Wayne, Bill was just messing with ya'. There's no ignition or diesel or glow or electric versions. There's just one version and you can power it any way you want to. You have chosen the same engine that powers my full fuse JVL Chip. You won't be disappointed with the Brodak 40.

BTW- the model looks great!
