using the features of this board
« on: October 28, 2006, 06:54:03 AM »
There was a person who wrote that this board has low activity. Well I can tell you this , this board gets a lot of play. How to get an overview of whats happening use the feature at the bottom left of the first screen. Click on view the last 10 posts. You will find that the last 10 are changing every hour. One of the reasons it looks slow compared to other boards is that we have 22 different sections to post in. Instead of like the others that you only have 4-5 choices. The reason it was done this way is so you could find information that interested you faster. If the majority feels that it should be categorized like all the rest let me know.

Robert,
Please don't change.  j1
I don't think a "change for the polls/ratings" would be a positive one for Stunt Hangar.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.  I cannot think of any improvements you could make.

I have just learned how to use it!

Robert,

I think the board is fine like it is.  I notice some inactivity during certain times.  For instance there were less messages during world series games.  Sometimes there are less messages during the weekend during flying hours.  I suppose football games takes some away from posting while the games are taking place.

IMHO, Stunthangar is the best and FRIENDLIEST board I've ever been associated with.  Keep up the good work Robert .  Stunthanger is an invaluable service to the C/L community.

I agree with Clay Schmidts post.  The members of this board are awesome!  I see very little attitude amongst the message posters.  Everyone tries their best to help out with honest tips and good advice.  Thanks to everyone involved here we have a good thing going.

Don't change a thing. n1 I have been on many message boards about many different things. I don't know of any that have a better layout,better administrator, better moderator, or better people.  y1

Robert;
   Needed info on run-up on a Fox 29R "BATHTUB", being a speed engine I went to the Speed section and got the info I needed. This is how it is supposed to work. I agree, IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT, and guess what---IT AIN'T BROKE.

This place is keeping me from finishing up some airplanes!!!!!  But, that's OK.  y1

The membership is fantastic, Sparky keeps on coming up with more ideas, and nothing in this "World" needs "fixing" right now.   ;D

Sparky, I am with the others, leave it alone.  It is easy to get around and post things.  Now don't wind up like the site I was going to.  The last couple of days Yahoo, MSN and Google say it doesn't exist anymore and tonight I had to boot computor to get things back to normal.  Later,  DOC Holliday
