Can I use Brodak dope over a SIG nitrate base?

Thanks,

Yes!  Just do not use the nitrate over the Brodak's or any other butyrate.

Nitrate goes under almost anything, but over hardly anything. I always use it up
to the color coats, it's a fine base, light and filling.

However, I think some people have had problems because they managed to put
down such a wet coat over it that it softened the nitrate. Note that you can also
mess up a butyrate dope job if you dissolve it.
