Sanding blocks?
« on: January 08, 2007, 08:11:04 AM »
When you start to sand the filler coat off. What kind of sanding block do you use? I use a piece of balsa wrapped in sand paper but i know there's gotta be something better especially for wet sanding.

I would say go to your local auto paint store and look at their stock.  Might have to cut some of the hard rubber ones down to size.  They also have the paper for wet sanding.  DOC Holliday

Your local home center (such as Home Depot around here) have foam sanding blocks. If you are careful with them, they work pretty well for this sort of thing.
