USA World Stunt Team Fly Off Site
« on: September 02, 2017, 08:16:31 PM »
In reading Bob Hunt's most recent column in MA, Houston, TX is noted as being the site for the Fly Off for next year's USA Team. In view of all their Harvey troubles can this site in this city be reasonably expected to be able to host this event in a bit more than a month? Will an alternate site be selected or has that already been done? If so where?

I believe that they are working on it. Dallas has been mentioned. The field will probably dry in time although it has 12-15 feet of water on it now.
There probably won't be any hotel rooms available.

Hi Phil

It is my responsibility and we are  working on moving it , I knew as soon as the hurricane hits that the site would be unusable, and I started that day  searching to move the  TTs,   I will make an announcement  very soon with the new location, Hopefully that will be  Dallas. I also will have new material with site info sent out to all who have entered or want it.
