US-Canadian Border
« on: August 21, 2021, 10:12:54 PM »
I just watched a race that had drivers and teams from Canada competing.   D>K

Do they have a special permit to cross the border and vice versa? ???

The border has always been open if you fly to the US from Canada . The land crossing is still closed. To enter Canada proof of both vaccine shots and a COVID test less than 72 hours old is required.

The land border is open for Americans but the entry requirements are rather steep for short trips .

there always been classes of essential travel on the northern and southern boarders, as well as special travel permits for stated purpose and duration...
I imagine certain sports due to revenue possibilities are a special travel class

this is speculation.....would not surprise if me everybody has to fly except the truck/trailer driver
