Title: Update
Post by: Bill Little on March 16, 2012, 02:27:00 PM
Well I have seen the Oncologist after my last scheduled chemo treatment.  She is very pleased with my labs, etc., and it appears all will be well, at least for a while!  She did tell me that it will take from 4-6 months for me to recover completely.  The numbness and tingling in my hands and fingers will be a while, she said "it takes longer for nerves to grow back".

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes.  Now I can work on getting to the basement and getting back to work on some models!  ;D

Hi Bill

Glad to here its looking up for a change. Are they going to do a pet scan to be sure the cancer is completely gone?? With the radiation the doctor told me it would be a year before I would get all my energy back. I go for a pet-scan at the end of the month also to my ear, nose, throat doctor at the end of the month. If there is still some cancer, I hope its small enough that the doctor can remove it bye surgery. I try to play with my toys but about ten minutes after I start I'm ready for a nap???? I pray things are going better for you.

God Bless
Gary

Brother Bill,
Sounds good Bro. I will keep the prayers going. You just don't over do things. When you start to get tired take a break for a bit.

I'm delighted to hear you are doing well on your recovery. God bless you, you've got a lot of people pulling for you, and you deserve it.

All my best, I look forward to seeing some more new model airplanes from you..

Bill

That's about how long it will take for you to handle that "big block" you got. Get well soon.
