Buzz reports that they have transported John to a rehab facility in Uniontown and that she has gotten him all settled in.
She is exhausted.....she has been sleeping in a chair in his room, with the kids spelling her so that she could eat.
I'll post the address and room number after I speak with her tomorrow.
Have fun!

Great News. Thanks for the updates.

I agree that really is good news about John's progress.
Please let Buzz know we're praying for John and for her also...
Thank you very much Rich for letting us know.

I spoke with Buzz today....she is upbeat and optimistic.
John may be released and able to go home on Sunday. His recovery will be long though. He is taking very strong anti-biotics to prevent infection resulting from the brain surgery. He is not allowed to even try to eat anything because the MDs fear infection. He has a PEG installed and needs 6 1/2 bags of nourishment daily.
John is able to get out of bed on his own and to walk.
He read the paper today and talked of finishing his airplane.
Buzz seemed genuinely upbeat.

I'm glad to hear that he is doing so well! The physicians should be commended for their great work, to keep a great guy with us. Working on a plane is the best way to get well. Go get 'em, John!

Very Good news...
-
That is great news about John. They say you can't keep a great guy down. H^^

Its so very nice to know that John is coming along better! I hope that he continues to listen to Buzz and the doctors. His future and ours depends on his adherence to the good advise he's received so far. Here's hoping that all continues as well as it has thus far. Prayers for John, buzz, and the doctors.

I spoke with Buzz today.
She reports that John is depressed...He is unable to even suck an Ice cube until the throat MD says it's okay....
John gets antibiotic shot @ 6:00 am, 6 feedings through a PEG of an Ensure like med and more antibiotics during the day, ending at midnight.
He uses a walker in the house.
Doctors parade through at a good rate.
He is off to the hospital for CT scans and more inspections next week (I believe Buzz said three trips).
But Buzz said that he seems stronger daily.

Can't imagine going through something like this, or any significant cancer treatment for that matter. I guess it's "better than the alternative" like some say. Hang in there John, there's a lot of us out here on your side.

How do we get through to John not to give up? Of course I'm not in his shoes and can't fathom t he is going through. D>K

suggestion: Can someone get an e-mail address at Brodaks that we can use and post it here ? We can then send John a message. They (@ Brodak's) can copy same and Buzz or someone can bring them to John.

Yes, we could do that, until they tell us were clogging up the business line. (Which would be a way of knowing we all sent greetings to John! :-)

What's the latest on John?
-
As of this morning, 3-4-2019 Buzz is cautiously optimistic about John. He is still on the heavy dosage of antibiotics but is getting stronger. She has been doing nothing but taking care of John and is tired, BUT she say he is really improving if only a small bit at a time. Keep those prayers flying his way and also for her as well. I could hear the improvement In her voice.
