Title: Up-Date
Post by: SQ8s on November 04, 2006, 12:44:33 AM
HELLO.....It's been a long time posting. To up date all of you on what's going on with "TYME" my business and home life.
Mother fell about a month ago and hurt her back and arm. She's doing well enough so I can get back into the shop for a few hours. I still have to help her in & out of bed. I now have to do all of the house work, shopping, cooking. I don't mind. The one thing is I MUST stay close to home. I can't leave for more then a few hours at a time. She's in a walker so I need to be near by. AS for the shop and getting caught up with orders I'm not that far behind. I'll get to all projects!
NOW as for flying.....I might be done competing (for awhile). I can't justify leaving for a couple of day's and leaving Mother. I'm still building. Got an IMPACT, SMOOTHIE, 68 NOBLER all framed up. Profile Force will be started soon.
THANKS to all that have called and e-mailed me. Mother and I say thank you.  :)!

Thanks for letting me borrow your tachometer.  I finished the Saito 40A report which is posted here.  Of course, I am close by so if you need any help building those ships, just let me know.
By the way, I crept into your driveway at a snails pace when I returned the tach. That is as slow as the Tundra can go. x:

Hi Scott,
Glad to hear your Mother is doing better. Family always comes first.
Unfortunately, my Mom passed away last Sunday, November 5th at age 83.
She has had oteoperosis for a long time and it was very debilitaing. Her pain is finally over.
I hope your Mother will recover and be able to enjoy her self as long as possible.

Bruce

Scott,

I know how you feel.  For the last 14 months my mother has been in and out of the hopsital.  CDif and Open Heart surgery.  Just as I felt all was normal again, she's back in the hopsital in intensive care.  Work all day, hospital at night.

Hang in there and know we all feel for you.

Bruce,

I am so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing.  It is some comfort to know her pain and suffering have ended, but the loss is hard to bear.

Our thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
