Up and going
« on: September 11, 2006, 07:20:26 PM »
After a trip to the computer store for some parts I am up and running again. It will take me some time to reload all my programs as I put in a new hard drive.

After 500.00 bucks on a new mother board and chip along with a 4 gig duel core processor and some more ram (2 gig ) total. Ge Force 7800 GT video card and the new hard drive the runs on some little wire? I have a new latest and greatest set up. until tomorrow

Ya, they went from a parallel (IDE) interface to serial and it's faster.. Defies all conventional logic but it works.

I have completed the install of all the programs on the new graphics computer. Unbelievably fast and powerful. Thats the good new, the bad news is I lost all info on the other drive. I have backed up all pictures so that good. But lost all email addresses and email notifications. If you have ordered a shirt and paid for it. Please send me a note so I can put you back on the order status.
