Can one unsubscribe from a thread, as in stopping the trail of "Show new replies to your posts" selectively?
Thanks.
-
up in the bar above,, there is a tab "PROFILE",
click on that,
then down below will be two blocks of options,,
select the one "notifications and email"
when you click on that it will refresh to a page with a listing of your subscribed threads.
it appears you can check the box on the right,, then below is an option to unsubscribe
hope that helps H^^

Thanks Mark, but what if the thread you wish never to see again does not appear in that list?
-
send me a PM telling me which thread and maybe I can help you.
-
Yeah, I think I misread your actual question Chris,,

There is an option called "Ignore" in the back of the old gray matter that will do that for you.

You will not be able to see that persons threads.

Hmmm, I suspect Mr. Holliday could mean the OLD kind of old grey matter...
... but sometimes the spirit is strong but flesh weak, and you peek at things you know you shouldn't.

I don't think the SW works that way, Sparky. I have certain individuals on my "ignore" list and their spew still shows up when I do my usual "Show unread posts since last visit."

Just don't look.

Just don't look.
If that's the answer, Sparky, why do you keep saying to use the "ignore" feature.
BTW, that is precisely what I do except when I want to get a laugh or two. >:D

Becuase I am tired of hearing this. If you don't want to see something don't look. Its getting old!
