Title: uniflow tanks
Post by: Shawn Kuntz on September 15, 2006, 07:02:03 AM
I have recently bought two metal uniflow tanks for my profile models.  The tanks come with a rubber hose with a metal plug.  What is the correct way to use these tanks?  Do I plug the overflow tube?

The answer is yes --after you fill the tank with it off of course! I assume by "rubber" you mean normal glow fuel tubing.

The supplied plug will work better than the small molded plastic one some use.  The plastic ones can leak when you use muffler pressure in the uniflo vent.  some put a small ball bearing in the fuel tubing to make the plug.  A tight fitting screw will work also.
