Looking for O&R .26 . I have built a Roberts Fireball for Michael Smith to use in a display for AMA’s museum. If you have one to donate send it to Michael at AMA or contact me. fcm95@comcast.net

Allen I've searched the net for any mention of an O&R .26 with no success.  Do you think it might be the .23 you are after?  Also prewar side port or post war front rotary valve?

I have an O&R 29.
On my keypad the 6 on the number key pad is ABOVE the 3 and BELOW the 9.
Perhaps it was before his morning coffee???

So, is it a .23, .26 or .29 that is being requested?  I've got a .23 from an estate that will go live on eBay this evening.  Pic attached.

Just checked my "American Model Engine Encyclopedia" (Tim Dannels) and do not see a .26.  They have:  60, 33, 29, 23, 19, 049.

I think if you look at the original instructions they recommend the O&R .23. I think that is what Walker used even on his models he used for his "Fly 3 at the Same Time Act."
   Type at you later,

Gentlemen I am by no means an old time engine guy, but since this project is static only it will make no difference if it’s a 23 - 26 or 29., heck it doesn’t even have to run..Plans call for a “class B or larger.

Most of you are old time engine guys, emphasis on old guys  n~

Allen, I ain't old. Just slightly matured  ;D
You can have this .29. It's in pretty nice runable condition. I'm in Canada so send me your mailing address via P.M.

All of the walker Fireballs I have seen from the day except one, had Ohlsson 23 sideports and Walkers had two speed timers operated with a relay for switching using the lines to power the relay. They also used the tank that came mounted on the intake tube.

The one I saw that was different was in Don Stills article on the Victory, where he started with a Fireball with an Ohlsson 60 sideport. There were probably many built with other engines in the day, but the Ohlsson 23 sideport was the most often shown.

I have a couple of Ohlsson 23 sideport engines, but they are both on planes and are great running engines.  One on a scaled down Lanzo Bomber to 60" span, with a radio. To old to chase FF.
