I got my Stiletto kit yesterday from Walter Umlands release...MAN...talk about wood! ;D What a nice kit. The wood is just absolutely gorgeous!! Every piece is straight, light and strong. Great plans too. Thanks to Walter for producing such a great kit of one of my favorite planes ever. I can't imagine how much work goes into something like this and it is greatly appreciated by this modeler.

Same here. The kit is gorgeous.
Thanks Walter - can't wait to get this one built and in the air!

I too got one of Walter's Stiletto 35 kits. Really great kit for sure. Maybe we should organize a Stiletto fly in? It would be interesting to see all the finished kits. 660's, 35's, M&P, profiles all of them. Big thanks to Mr. McDonald too for designing such an awesome plane! I have liked the Stiletto kit ever since my older PAMPA bro had one in the 80's! Post some pictures as you finish.

You'll notice that every single one of Walters kits have that same quality. They're literally works of art. I always wish I had two of all his kits. One to build, one to just open and admire.
I'm currently building one his kits, too.

Please do not thank me for designing anything.
I sincerly appreciate the kind words but when I was doing these things I had only myself to consider. On the other hand Walter dedicates his life to making his customers happy with these high quality kits and I am honored to be a small part of that.

Hey Les,
It's OK to take a little credit...it's one hell of an airplane, especially the 660 which I've had two of in the past.
Never flew the 35 size but your was the tightest flatest turning airplane I ever saw fly. 1971 across from Miami Dade community college...watching you and it inspired me to start flying stunt again!
