I Hijacked this from SSW
"A friend of mine mentioned I should post this here. Hi my name is Mike Willcox and I am a control line combat guy. I import world class combat ships for many of the top notch f2d pilots in the world from the Ukraine. I was over at their factory last October and saw that they have some guys making stunt planes as well. The quality is world class. This plane also breaks down into a nice box that they hand made for it. This model comes with a motor and some extra parts that you can see in one of the photos. If your interested you can email me if you have any questions. I think they are asking about $1700 (plus shipping). I am attaching a link to the photos and a link to a video of the factory when we were there in October.

Interesting model, some similarities to the Ever Sucessful Yatsenko Shark, but a a little different wing attachment . Big Question. have you seen one fly, or have they been flown in competition . and what are the numbers , wing are , etc.

Many moonies ago....I tried a flap horn like the once shown...although it could have been my building techn..BUT THAT HORN REALLY DIDN'T TOOT WORTH A HOOT AND IT SIMPLY----SUCKUTH !...and I had to tear into it...and later this is the result.

The Shark that won the Nationals and will represent the USA in the worlds has a very similar horn. I have a yetsenko Shark and the horn arrangement works great.
Just my opinion.

Humm? In my case...it just"shows-ta-goya" what can happen when you rush things...especially when it comes to control links like a flap horn.
Due to my mis alignment...I could never get my flaps in sync. with the overly large elevators. A previous model designed, built and flown by George Lieb, Bruce Malm and later by me....flew beautifully with the conventional flap horn.
(On this busted model of my that I crashed due to a broken leadout line)...I thought I would give this horn that I saw a Russian model in a model magazine with that double in line hole arrangement. Perhaps thinking back, I thought it might give me some extra leverage to handle my supa'-sized elevators.
After a few test flights I noticed that the elevator throw wasn't right and since I didn't have time to cut into the fuselage and make any changes before the up coming week end SanPoint contest.
Hind sight is always soooooooooooooo great. This same horn set up I had noticed was popular in Europe at the time and was being used by BIG GUN flyers....and with that in mind. It must have done a sloppy job of soldering or fitting the bellcrank to flap horn length..(whatever?)
Intertesting and Glad to hear that it works so successfully in your model.
( Jose, can you see by the dawns early light...this too, was just my opinon:)

Thanks for your input. I am interested in this model so that I can travel with it on the back of my Gold Wing motorcycle. Right now I am corresponding with Mike Willcox (Champion combat flyer) to get more details and pricing.
Some of my concerns are:
Will the model arrive safely?
If not, will they make good on the shipping damage?
Will the model be Trimmed out?
Will the motor yield decent stunt run?
F2B fuel or nitro?
How do I transfer funds?

HUMMM? Don't you think that---- $1700.00 SEEMS A BIT PRICEEE' FOR A MODEL TOY AIRPLANE and I thought my sport kites were expensive at $250.00????
However...guess it only depends where your heart-n-passion and values in life abound?
$1700.00 is only $300.00 more than I paid for a one of a kind custom built CALLET trumpet with a Gold plated bell and "tweaked" to perfection by Jerome Callet of NYC before he stopped building those amazing instruments. I bought that horn waaaaaay back in 1998 when gas was only around 1.99 a gallon and my house near Seattle was only $24,950.00?
Humm? Maybe after I saw how beautiful Paul Walkers awesomely finished and flying IMPACT a few weeks ago....(just maybe...THAT MODEL WOULD BE WORTH THAT KIND OF MONEY???) but for this little snap together RTF...and my old tattered body and reflex's of mine...just thinking how long that model would perhaps last me...that cost $1700.00 would make even those old tattered reflex's a bit jittereee-n-jumpeeee?"
HA! WHO ARE WE KIDDIN?...WHEN YA THINK JUST HOW MUCH EFFORT, TIME AND $$$ WE PUT INTO THESE AMAZING LITTLE TOY AIRPLANES OF OURS...humm?

How much would any one of us ask for OUR latest and greatest stunt ship? Bob Storick just wrote he has $1300.00 material invested in his latest. If he worked for $40.00/hr, he would have to build the model in 10 hours to sell it for $1700.00. At $4.00/hr he could work at a leisurely 100/hr pace.
I waste dozens of hours just staring at my projects. Another several dozen looking for tools and such.
I often wondered, if some accident befell my model at the hands of some stranger, what would be my compensation in a court of law. Since I scratch build, I could not even show a receipt for a $300.00 kit.

ONE MAN'S TRASH IS A NUTTER'MAN'S TREASURE N' ALL THAT JAZZ!
Kinda the perspective of it all.....since over the years...
many stunt flyers, me included, have given away some virtually BRAND NEW stunters that after working months over...SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY IN FACT DIDN'T LIVE UP TO EXPECTATIONS IN THE FLYING DEPARTMENT and simply didn't want to dump even more time, effort, and MONEY into a dog that wouldn't be competitive.
I can even admit at times I have suffered greatly, WISHING THAT I HADN'T GIVEN AWAY THOSE BACK UP MODELS.....and even found myself resorting to driving around to all the old flying sites...
Going through and looking into all the old dumpsters..."DUMPSTER DIVING for old broken scraps of model parts"...
( many EVEN IN WORSE DAMAGE THAN THAT MODEL I POSTED or this website)
simply...just because now finding myself with out a stunt model...plus often I didn't have the time, money to build a new one of my own in time for an upcoming contest.
For a fact!
One of the best rebuild trash models that I ever had was a busted up old blue Nobler that Tim Dunlop had stuffed in the trash barrel behind his house.
I dug through his last night supper's fried chicken scraps, then carefully put those puzzeled pieces of his bash n' trashed old Nobler back together...then repainted it...and won the VanCouver Internats with it waaaaaaaaay back in 1965
Humm? Perhaps to many...that was bending the B O M???
Big deal...that model to most NORMAL folks would have considered that "aftermat of a pillow fight. I can remember some ding headed traditional folks that think that was CHEATIN' PURE AND SIMPLE...right or wrong...I FELT NO SHAME OR PAIN.
Like many other stunt flyers...I too, have made a life time of GIVING AWAY MANY old models that were either too badly worn or not competitive enough for my expections...simply to newbee flyers who either didn't have the time, skill or money....just to get that fire and passion in building and flying stunt.
Hummm?
I never really even WANTED to be reminded of how much time, effort or money that I had previously put into my models...PERHAPS, just because of a hidden GUILT or worse?

Linheart My model came via Miami Florida. The model was first shipped to Orestes Hernandez in Miami Flirida, (current Nats Champ) The kit was partly seembled and then shipped to me in New York City. The model was packeged in the wooden box and then in a bouble cardboard bon the model arrived in perfect condition.
I have attended three contest were the model and I traveled by airplane.
Two very good trips to Huntersvile N.C. and one disaster to the Team Trials in 07.
The model was dammaged and required a part rebuild
I have purchased Items from the Yatsenkos in the Ukrane and the money transfer is not difficult. Fron the time that the item is air shipped it takes seven days.
The model in the photos is a replica of the Shark the controls, pushrod ends,belcrank hookup, interior Molded wood constuctions minus the built-uo wing very similar.
the price of 1,700 dollars is 1/2 the price of a skark.

I looked at the first photo in photobucket. It's kinda crude, but clearly says the engine is a "Raduga 7", which is well known as a POS. Plan on repowering it with a B.40 or .46LA, at least. H^^ Steve

Steve - the only thing that is Raduga is the case - it is completely rebuilt apparently -
