Thanks for the pictures of the museum and Hobby Shop. MAN, how I wish there were shops like that still around with those items in stock!

Thanks, also, for the shot of Bob's T-Bird. That was the one used in the WC's. Many years ago I decided to do all the American entries along with the winner from the 1960 and 1962 WC. I still need to do the T-Bird. I did one, but I didn't really know what the real one was painted like. I will have to do a new one of those.

The pilots meeting is breaking up and the judges meeting getting ready to start. There are 13 brave souls in the herd. We each fly four flights tomorrow on circles 3 and 4 at 8:00 am.

Paul, very dangerous territory. Can't say it looks like anyone's cakewalk. Lots of good flying but many have had one issue or another. The weather report I just saw says tomorrow will be near perfect- if not a little dead air at times. Did look like some rain tonight. The last practice tonight was dead air. We'll see. I think there may be a surprise or two.

Mike I don't have a list. I know Mark Overmeyer is head judge. There are a number of qualified folks around but I don't know yet if they came to judge. Denny and David Adamisin are here. ? A number of others. Maybe someone else will chime in.

I'm trying to figure out who these folks are, since I only recognize Howard from seeing him zip by in his Prieus on the 405. Is that Sparky in front of Howard, or a lookalike? Is Howard the only West Coast persona?

Everyone needs to give "Mark O" a great big "Thank You".
He has taken on the Head Judge job at the Nats for quite some time and he knows what he's doing. FAI is even more complicated but I have every confidence in his ability that things will run smoothly and fairly.
Please give recognition to Mark and the judges for their hard work and effort.
(To avoid controversy the thanks should be given at the end of the contest!)

Every year I would attend the NATS the museum would be one of the required stops. If we had a hobby shop like that in every town, you think CL would be dead?
