I like! Orange isn't exactly forgotten when it comes to choosing a color for a stunter but it doesn't come up very often.

'Course this month most most orange planes go into hiding lest someone come along and cut out  holes for the mouth eyes and nose... This owner of this one should  be extra careful as the top is already done for the candle!!!!

I like it a lot! It's a nice mellow orange, too. Whatever happened to "McLaren Orange"? Wonderful color, even when it was going by me at 100 mph. I saw ex-World Champ Phil Hill drive the #1 McLaren sports racer at SIR...and it wasn't orange. That boy could really drive a race car!

I've attached a pic of Mike Haverly's JD Falcon from the Blue Sky kit. The orange is Brodak Cessna Orange. I think the pic was taken by Rob Duckering. Anyway, it's at the Prairie Fire Stunt event in Edmonton, Alberta...about the most fun you can have with clothes.   H^^ Steve

Bill Werwage had an orange P-40 on the front row of Nats appearance judging in 1995.  Come to think of it, I saw a lovely orange plane there recently.

I live in Tenn. ,but U. Tenn. has absolutley nothing to do with it.
Am building a plane at this time , It may end up orange.
I thought K.T. Bearcat looked great!
I just like orange planes.

I have been known to paint a plane or two in orange somewhere in this small world of mine. I know this sounds wierd but it sort of relaxes me after a day with my wonderful wife. The next time I use orange I will find a barn someplace to paint in. mw~ mw~ mw~ mw~ HB~>

A couple of pics of Howard's Impact, solo in the front row at the '07 NATS, with 19 sweet points. The servo tabs are a pretty neat idea. Howard says they work, and he likes them.

The profile Cardinal was built by Jerry Day, onetime NW Skyraider member. It still hangs on the wall in Jerry's shop, but he's gone back to building and racing (orange) Vintage Sprint Cars. He also makes items for various Unlimited Hydroplane teams...skid fins, wing struts, rudders, etc. Quite an artist with metal, and a fine craftsman with balsa and silkspan. I flew this plane two flights. First flight was scary. Second flight, a half-turn on the elevator ball link later, was fun. Slight tweaks can make a huge difference. Howard hasn't let me fly his ImpAct.  LL~ Steve

Hey Howard,
the Oriental was in Salem for Ogling,, you werent!Lucky for you that Pat J was there to keep me in check or I mighta flown it. and since Linda knew you promised to protect it, it would have been bad for you,, I know I wouldnt want her mad at me,,, considering my other Oriental met with the asphalt intimidator, this one could have been unduely challeged to take its place. guess I am lucky I didnt bring my .40 H to mount up in her,,

My brotha-in red n' orange lovin' stunt models....has rightfully brought to my attention that my either my eye balls...or my computer is off when showing these stellar examples of "ORANGE" when for a fact a couple of them have actually been RED AND NOT ORANGE!"

Either way......all of these fantastical models are pure perfection visually and are stunning examples of control line stunt models, regardless of my lame puter or degraded eyeballs.
To me nuttin beats a beautiful orange or bright red model being flown against a blue or grey sky.
Thanks for the correction Tom...and YES!!!

Keep posting your favorites anyhoo? (What ever color they maybe??? H^^ ~>
