Title: Two Sides to Every Story
Post by: sonic_chicken on November 11, 2017, 09:18:00 PM
There are two sides to every story and it seems that people only want to listen to one side and that one is the one that is not being told correctly.  Those of you that know us know that we try to do right by others.  Unfortunately we got ourselves into a situation where we needed help and obviously we realized to late one of the people we received help from was a liar and cheated not only us but other people as well.  That person has since been running his mouth and making himself look good to others while destroying our name.  Well John, Karma is a bitch and we hope to be around when it comes at you.  You took advantage of a situation knowing damn well what you were going to get and keep.  Unfortunately people who I have been friends with a long time have decided to listen to you which is pretty sad in itself.  Instead of calling us or emailing us asking for our side of the story they are going along with your lies.  I have tried to help you and teach you and have been nothing but respectful towards you until recently.  You screwed over a lot of people for what?  To try and make a name for yourself?  To the my friends, call me and find out our side of the story before judging for yourself.  You should know me by now.  I am all about the Combat hobby and trying to keep it alive.  I build planes to help keep the lights on and will come back stronger and better.  I try to help as many people as I can learn how to fly, build, whatever else they need.  So, John Knoppi, if you are out there and I know you are I am watching you and will see you again.  So just keep running your mouth and see where it gets you.

Would you put stock in a fake name that looks like a real name?

Real names in Forums is how criminals steal identities. It happens every day.

Through conversations, purchases, fake friendships, information is what they need, that's how it gets done.

Believe it or not.

Sonic Chicken is Jeff Dawson, a well known Combat flyer from around Houston, Texas.

I have two of Jeff's airplanes and have visited with him several times. I consider him a stand up guy!

John is a NW Skyraider and a stand-up guy. I don't know Jeff Dawson.

As previously said, there are two sides to every story. I really don't want to know about this story, but hope you guys can communicate and work it out.   D>K Steve

I have no idea what this is all about but I met Jeff Dawson in the early 1990's at some combat contests in the Huston TX area.  He was a great guy and a big help to me in pitting for me and didn't in the beginning know me from Adam!  He was a very out going and friendly guy and seemed to get along with anyone and everyone!
Sorry to hear that there are problems between two CL fliers.  Our "Family" is too small to let things like this continue.  C'mon guys work it out!

This is now the 2nd person I have heard who had issues dealing Mr Knoppi. I hope he can work things out with them.
