Two of the new planes. They are m y versions of the John Lowrey Stuka. Tried to make them identical. Have not weighed them as they feel light(less than 3 pounds). Power is OS LA .25 on both. They are covered with SLC. The black is an extra large magic marker. Graphics are money kote

Those look cool Doc. I've got one of John's Stuka's and Wing Master's to build yet. Let us know how they fly.

They look like loads of fun Doc.
Let us know how they fly.

Those look very nice to say the least. Now to illustrate my ignorance, just what is SLC? I like coverings that let me see what I broke this time.

Nice!!!
Love the wings.
Designed some slow combat like that way back, the torsional rigidity is unbelievable.
Build em straight or live with the warp and it ain't coming out. HB~>
Used sheeting instead of false ribs.

SLC is the very lightweight covering offered by Corehouse (Phil Cartier). It's paintable, and very reasonably priced.

Is this the laminating film?
Cloudy looking from adhesive that vaporizes off when heat shrinking?
Good light weight stuff.

Hey Doc, good looking birds - looks like you are following your own advice and HAVING FUN! Will these be grab-n-go flyers for the G-kids???

I am hoping they will get the kids motivated again. Also a roll of duct tape for the old mans mouth.
