TwistStang repaired ..... lives to fly another day.
« on: April 30, 2008, 06:26:19 PM »
Well after I ran out of fuel and stood and watched the Pig nose in last time we were out.

I fixed it up.

I did not see it at first but it broke the stab lose on the push rod side. It had a hole in the top of the wing. Just broke a little of the sheeting and popped a hole in the $kote.

Patched it up, and added a little more weight with epoxy and CA.

Now to see if it flys better.

It will fly the same.

It's YOU that will fly better, my friend!   H^^

Hey Chris,
I am not to sure I can get any better, it's hard to improve when you are already at the top. LL~ LL~ LL~ (in my dreams)

The plane seems to hunt from side to side. Yawing. I adjusted the leadouts back 1/4 in. while I had it on the bench. See if that helps any.

Sure wish we had more room in the truck so we could bring out bigger planes up north this summer. HB~>

How about a little trailer or one of those cargo carriers that mounts in the trailer hitch?
Once again, I'll be happy to help out with storing what ever plane, ARF or ?? for you.   :##
