Title: Twister weight

Hey all I just electrified my Twister weight is 42 oz. and its a bit nose heavy so if I hve to add a couple oz. of weight to the tail is 44 0z. going to be much?

Sorry. See it's electric. If you have enough power it should fly all right if well trimmed. I had a Twister at that weight powered by an FP40. An excellent flier when all the adjustable stuff was in harmony. A dog before that. Try to shift the batteries back to handle the nose heavy condition. Folks have mounted batteries in the wing. Dunno if that's possible now.

Mine weighs 47 oz, but it's Fancherized, big stab/elev., and is IC powered. It flies fairly well, but hurts the suicide corners. Try to avoid adding weight by moving what you've got. The control ratio will need to be 1:1 for flap/elev.

Thanks guys I'll try shifting the batt for now and see if I can find a lighter one.

Good Idea. Much better to add lightness . ;D Could look to see whats involved in shortening nose , as option .
Plan C.G. position is usual a guide , not infalible . a notch nose heavy might get it less jumpy . Ordinarilly youd
pull it back as you got used to it. When it acted snotty youd know to back of to last position or two.Establish
a working range youre happy with . Not as far back in bumpy air .
