Title: Twin Baby Ringmaster
Post by: Dave Nyce on April 08, 2015, 11:48:03 AM
I just finished building a "Twin Baby Ringmaster", see photo below.  It's from a kit supplied by Pat King of Illinois (http://pdkllc.com/airplanes).  Two Cox Pee Wee .020 engines are installed, having three-blade props from Cox International (coxengines.ca).  Cox International still sells various parts for the Cox .010 and .020 engines, but not complete engines in those sizes (they still sell a lot of complete .049 engines).  Complete .010 and .020 engines are often listed on Ebay.

Haven't had a chance to fly it yet.  Our son is getting married in a couple of weeks, and we're getting ready for that. (Rehearsal dinner, people coming in from out of town, etc.)

Also building a micro ringmaster stunt from same kit supplier, with profile fuselage and built-up wing, but it will use a Tee Dee .010 engine.

I forgot to mention that the vinyl checks were left over from another project (Enterprise-E), and were supplied by Avaiojet.
