tutor II wing uses
« on: March 19, 2010, 03:12:56 PM »
I have a Tutor II wing that survived the fuselages demise. It has a small area that needs repaired and then its ready to recover. My question is should I stick with the original moments or is there an improvement that can be had? I would like to stay with a profile fuselage as I rather hard on equipment still.

Thanks Steve

Steve how well did you like the way that it flew as stock? If you liked that why not stay with those moments?
Something else you might look at is keeping the engine thrust line and wing and stab thrust lines where they were before the " untimely" demise.
Keep us posted on your progress..And good luck...

I used the same moments but rounded the wing tips and made a P-40 warhawk fuse. It flies the same.

I used the wing of the Tutor II with a new fuselage.
I made a new design but kept the moments only reinforces the stabilizer with balsa 1 / 16 on top and bottom.
This model has won many competitions with my younger brother.
I was flying with ST51 and helice 12X6.

I bought this Tutor II ARF minus fuselage on scratch and dent and made Allen Brickhause's Mustang profile.

Now, that's what I like to see! That wing belonged on a Mustang. Sharp looking flier, Leester

I have a jet style fuse with the stock moments drawn up. I was just wondering if anyone had improved on the original. hopefully it will be started later this spring.
Thanks
