« on: March 10, 2008, 08:43:58 PM »
Maybe we  complained to much about the ARF  topflite gave us retreads ,so we could get back in the air without spending that 500 to 1000 dollars and 10 months in the shop . they have discontinued  the TUTOR II and have no thoughts on  bringing it back. i am glad i got mine but in the last week i have heard to many  yes where do i get one!!! to bad guy  the  150.00 in the air deal is gone.

Maybe John Brodak will step in and pick this one up???

It will be my next ARF.

I note that the Tower Hobbies price on the TF Score is $99. Isn't this ~$20 cheaper than before? Maybe it is being ready for removal too---my speculation.

The Tutor II was a right size for a 40, which the Brodak profile ARF is not (doesn't look it to me).  It needs a 51.  What does that leave for the right size?  A Teosawki made from unobtanium ?

Ray,
Which Brodak Profile Arf are you referring to? My P40 ARF flies very nice with the Brodak 40 engine. And I think the other two Brodak Profiles that come to mind (Cardinal and Pathfinder) do well on a 40 engine too.

I hope TF isn't going out of the CL business (I confess, I really like the Nobler!), but the Brodak ARFs are still pretty reasonable in price too (last time I checked anyway).
